Kilchoman Loch Gorm - limitierte Abfüllung 2022. Sie wurde zu 100% in Oloroso-Sherry Fäaasern der renommierten Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin, von der auch Glenfarclas seine Sherry- Fässer bezieht, ausgebaut. Diese Vollreifung gibt dem Malt einen vollmundigen, fruchtigen Charakter, eingebunden in die klassischen Torfraucharomen der Islay-Farm Destille Kilchoman.

Aroma:

Intense sweet pipe smoke, followed by waves of freshly cut strawberries and canded lemon peel. Lighter notes of Neroli (orange blossoms), soft toffe and cloves.

Geschmack:

An initial note of dark chocolate and toasted walnuts, gentle tobacco smokiness, hints of caramel and dates accompanied by subltle warming peat smoke.

Nachklang:

Long and evolving with cinnamon and liquorice wood, chocolate bitters and lingering earthy smoke.
